Policy
All appointments are held in-person. Clinic and COVID-19 protocols are to be followed.
Massage therapy appointments can only proceed once a client has completed their Health History forms sent via email. This is to ensure that the practitioner delivers a safe, and effective treatment.
Direct billing is available for most insurance companies. Please bring a prescription from your primary physician if it is required by your insurance policy. Please bring other forms of payment in the event that your insurance does not cover the complete balance, or the insurance portal is down. It is the clients' duty to know their own insurance policy, and coverage.
Insurance must be claimed by the client if direct billing portals are not operating. You will then receive an invoice with the necessary information to claim the service. Do NOT ask staff to commit any sort of insurance fraud as it can jeopardize your relationship with the insurance company, and the practitioners license. If it is proven that you have been committing fraudulence you will be immediately be discharged as a client, and possibly have to face further consequences fitting to the crime—as it is an indictable offense under Canadian law.
An active credit card must be kept on file for the purpose of charging any missed or late-cancelled appointments. Expired cards must be updated promptly. If a valid card is not provided, patients have 7 days to submit payment through other approved methods. Failure to do so may result in the suspension of treatment until the required payment or updated card information is received. We appreciate your cooperation in helping us maintain consistent and timely care for all patients.
A 24 hour notice must be made to reschedule or cancel your booking. Last minute cancellations and no shows will be charged the full amount of the appointment with all services using only the registered card on file. Clients who are late will only receive their treatment until the end of their allotted time. This is to ensure that no inconveniences occur for the following appointment.
If you anticipate that you will be late for your appointment, please notify the clinic through email via info@musemassagenbeauty.com or through our landline at
(905) 404-2622. If there is no answer from the phone line, please leave a voicemail as we may be in treatment at the time of your call.
Please note that illness does not guarantee a waiver of fees. While we understand that unexpected health issues may arise, all appointment cancellations or changes are subject to our standard clinic policies. Fee waivers are considered on a case-by-case basis and are not automatically granted due to illness.
We are currently not accepting new clients. Any attempts to book will be removed. This is to help existing clients claim appointments to prioritize, and maintain ongoing treatment plans. Thank you for your understanding.
